How we can help

We provide advice and input at the early stage of projects, including feasibility studies and optioneering, as well as issues and opportunities appraisal. We can support clients in the following ways:

 

  • Site selection - issues and opportunities analysis

  • Environmental input to feasibility studies

  • Environmental appraisal to support masterplanning

  • EIA screening to support planning applications 

 

We undertake EIA Screening for projects to identify whether EIA is needed and the likely topics that will need to be considered.

 

This includes undertaking a review of publicly available environmental information, supported, where necessary, by site visits to verify surrounding land uses. We prepare screening reports that can be submitted in support of requests for formal screening opinions to planning authorities and support pre-application discussions.

 

Environmental issues are frequently seized upon by objectors and clients need to be able to respond robustly. Whilst we can provide this for you, by engaging us early in the process we can work with you to address issues before they become problematic.
